When it comes to making stuff, I always have lots of leftover paper. I have been told when it comes to crafting to not throw anything away, you never know when you could use it again. So now I have a drawer that is full of scrap paper. Plus the DSP from Stampin Up is just to pretty to get rid of. So I decided to make use of it.
I took my 1 inch circle punch and punched out about 30 pieces of paper and put them together on a card.
Now I'm going to be honest here. This was a test run card and I have perfected it in another card. This Pool Party card was the size of your standard card that we always make, but it was a little tricky to place the circles on the card. They had to be spaced out just right in the rows otherwise you would be too close on one side. I kept playing with it but eventually sized up my card so they would fit better.
I made my card 5 inches instead of 5 1/2 inches. This made the circles line up nicely together with no gaps to worry about.
What I used:
Crumb Cake CS: 8 1/2 x 5
Whisper White CS: 5 x 1 3/16
Crumb Cake CS: 5 x 1
Sweet Essentials Stamp Set (126457)
Crumb Cake Ink
Hope you enjoyed!
