Tissue Box Holder

For some reason my video camera tripod doesn't want to work right so I have to do this post as a picture tutorial. I have here a tissue box holder that I made my girls at my last party.

I had gotten tissue packets from the dollar store to use in another project, but I never got around to it and they have been sitting on my self for some time. So as a treat for my girls at my anniversary party I made these little boxes. They are super easy and are a great gift to give out at demo parties.

What you need:
DSP: 5 1/2 x 6 1/2
5 1/2 side  Score: 3/4 and 4 3/4
6 1/2 side  Score: 3 /4, 3, 3 3/4, 6

Find the end that is bigger. On the second score line your going to punch half an oval with the large oval punch.

With the smaller end cut the end pieces off and cut all your sides up to the score line.

Glue together. I used glue because it gives you a little time to position the paper in place before it dries. You of course could use sticky strip but I wouldn't recommend snail.

Don't forget to add your tissue. I had to take away about two of them from the pile so they would fit better and also come out of the box better.

Now to decorate. I used the Too Kind Stamp Set (130450) for the sentiment. I then punched it out with the Scalloped Oval Punch. Then used the Petite Petals Punch to add some flowers.

So cute. My girls loved it. Here are the ones I made for them.

Hope you enjoyed!

  1. I really enjoyed the tutorial, Bianca! It’s really convenient to have one at all times, especially when you’re going somewhere. The problem with tissue popups is that they tend to get flattened in a corner of the bag, especially if you tend to have a lot of stuff in it. So putting it in a small pocket that's easily accessible would be a good idea.
