Lots of Love Hello Card

The other day I was really bored and really uninspired. I had been cruising through Pinterest and nothing was calling out to me. Believe me that is pretty unusual for me. I usually get too overwhelmed with Pinterest and don't know where to start. So I figured I'd go play with a stamp set.

When I saw this stamp set and suite in the new catalog the paper was what did it for me. I was immediately drawn to the floral designs and all the details that came with it. But when I saw the stamp set I loved the floral detail.

Its unlike other floral designs and I wanted to use a more muted tone compared to pinks and purples. So I chose to mix blues and greens, even black. I did fussy cut everything out. A very fun and simple card.

Cute Kitties Birthday Card

Spring and Summer is kitten season.
For those who don't know I work at my local Animal Shelter and we brace ourselves for kitten season every year. We always question customers when they bring in a box and find out there are several kittens inside. Most are put in our Tweenie program and fostered, others are adopted right away. For the sick ones we send them to another rescue who specializes in making them better. But the cuteness is hard to handle sometimes.

My daughter, Bella, is obsessed with cats and kittens. She has everything from cat shirts, cat ear headbands and lots of stuff animals. And we don't even own a cat, yet. I already promised one when we move.

This card was fun to make with my daughter in mind. I had a lot of fun coloring the different kittens for the crate and cutting them out. Great card for that cat-lover in your life.
I used only 1 cut out from the Wood Crate Framelits and cut it down to make it a one-sided crate. I layered the kittens and popped it up on dimentionals.

June Customer Thank You Cards

Every month I try to send out a thank you gift to my customers that shopped with me the previous month. It's my way of saying "thank you" and how much I appreciate their business. I love all my customers so much and I know they love what I create for them.

Having great customers is a major highlight of being a Stampin Up Demonstrator. I love getting a notification in my email whenever someone buys from me. It makes me excited not that I'm earning money from their purchase but that they chose me to be their demonstrator. It was something I did that inspired them to chose me to buy from and that is an amazing feeling.

So in return I made these cards for my customers to have.
Now I have to admit I didn't like this set when I saw it in the catalog. It just wasn't something that appealed to me.

But once I saw what other demonstrators were doing with this set I knew then that I had to have it. And now I'm having way too much fun playing with it. What I liked about this set is that I can get some awesome boy cards out of this and that is something that a lot of demonstrators struggle with.
But these cards came out so cute and I love them so much.

Floral Sentiments Hello Card

When I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it. I absolutely love it. I couldn't wait to color in the flowers. I now have to do it in every color.

You can make up this card in every color and have them readily available when you need one. They are perfect for birthdays, thank yous and just because type cards.
I just love this stamp set.

I stamped it with Archival Basic Black ink on regular Whisper White cardstock. I then colored in the flower using a blender pen. I chose Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight ink to color in the flowers.

Embossed Floral Card

When I saw this set I loved it. I loved the wreath and adding the flowers in an embossed form. I couldn't wait to make it.

There is a whole card set that goes with this stamp set but all I ended up getting was the stamp set. I knew that I could re-create as close as possible and still have great looking cards.

These are actually very simple cards to make up and a great card to send to a friend. The sentiments in the stamp set are perfect for friend cards.
