When I saw this set I knew that it would make beautiful sunflowers. But I didn't want to always make yellow sunflowers. Thank goodness for Pinterest. It was easy to look up different sunflowers and different ones that other Demonstrators have already done.
Also I don't have a sympathy card and I have recently seen a lot of these type of cards on Pinterest so I figured I needed to make one.
This card came out better then I expected. Just a beautiful card. One thing that makes this card stand out is the way that I cut the flowers. When you fussy cut anything out usually you leave a type of border around the image. I saw online that with this particular flower if you cut right up to the image line and not leave a border then the flowers have a more realistic feel to them. I found this to be very true. I felt the flowers popped so much better then when I would cut a border. A nice simple trick to try on your next fussy cutting.
