New Stampin Up! Stampin Blends Markers - GIVEAWAY

New Stampin Blends Markers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure that you have heard already but I am excited to share the new Stampin Blends Markers. A while back Stampin Up had alcohol markers called Blendabilities. They were great for coloring and blending light and dark colors, however they were not the best quality. Stampin Up strives to provide only the best for their customers so the Blendabilities were discontinued until they could come up with better ones.

And now they have. These new markers are amazing. They work beautifully and I am having so much fun playing with them. As a demonstrator we get to play with new products before customers get to. It is a great perk for signing up. ( If you are interested in becoming a Stampin Up Demonstrator check out the "Join My Team" Tag on the home page).

And now for the GIVAWAY!!!
From November 1-20th - if you used this hostess code: QJFFQUP3
you will be entered to win the Color Me Happy Project kit and Color me Happy Stamp Set.
It is a beautiful and fun kit. I had the most fun playing with these stamps and making the most amazing cards with the best handmade touch anyone could ask for.
I will pick a winner on November 21st and I will contact them and post it on my Facebook page (so please follow on Facebook-- link to the right).
Your purchase can be in any amount up to $150. If your order is over $150 you won't be able to use to host code because you earn Stampin Rewards. But don't fret, I will still enter you into the drawing for the kit.

Hopefully my video can help answer any questions. If not feel free to comment or email me.

Have a great day and good luck!

Halloween Potions Card

I wanted to make one last card for Halloween and I wanted it to be a little more detailed then others.
I like how this card came out. I really like the colors.

I guess I have a thing about orange that I just can't work with it. so using these other colors made it fun to play with my Halloween stamps.

This card was fun to make and I know anyone would love to receive it.

Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score 4 1/4
Basic Black: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Designer Series Paper: 4 x 3
Very Vanilla: 4 x 2 1/2

Halloween Treat Bag

I love making treat goodie bags, especially for kids. They are so much fun to decorate and I love seeing their expressions when they get them.

These bags were fun to make. I used the Mini Treat Bag dies (137547) to cut out the main bag. These are very easy to use and they make the perfect bag every time.

I wanted to use up my Spooky Night Designer Series Paper as much as possible. I hate having left-over paper that I can't use. It just takes up space however sometime I just can't part with it. It's just too pretty to cut up.

In the video you see that I showed how much these bags can hold. I got all my goodies at my local Dollar Tree. In one bag I used just candy and in another I used just toys. They can fit quit a bit of stuff inside and I still had room for more.

Hope you enjoyed!

Halloween Gift Card Holder

I have made gift card holders before and usually make them small and more to the size of the gift card. I then would place them into another card to hold them. I figured why not kill two birds with one stone.

I then came up with this card that allows you to place the gift card within the card itself. I'm sure I'm no the first one to come up with this idea but it was fun making it.

I of course used the new Merry Cafe Stamp Set (144965). You can't go wrong with this set. I has all the holidays included- Halloween, Fall, Christmas, New Years and even Valentines. It's perfect even if you don't celebrate all the holidays.
And whats even better is they coordinate with the Coffee Cups Framelits (143745).
It's a great way to decorate a card especially since Coffee drink gift cards are probably one of the #1 gift cards given as a quick gift.

Basic Black Card Base:  8 1/ x 5 1/2
Score:  1/4  and  4 1/4
Very Vanilla: 2 5/8 x 5 1/4
Designer Series Paper:  1 1/2 x 5 1/4  and  2 3/4 x 5 1/4
Strip : 1/4 x 5 1/4

Halloween Pizza Box

I absolutely love these new Pizza Boxes (144645). They make the perfect box for a small treat or even a small set of cards.

Now I originally colored this box. The box has a shiny side and a cardboard type side. I used my sponge dauber to color the box pumpkin pie and the edges basic gray. Then I decorated it.
But... I didn't like it.

So I changed it up. I ended up not coloring the box and I was able to make it stand out better. I pretty much used the same decoration. I like it a lot better. I did color the Metallic Foil Doilies (138392). I flipped it over a sponged the other side with Basic Black Ink (140931). It really made it pop.

I then utilized the Merry Little Christmas DSP so that the Pumpkin Pie could stand out more. I absolutely love how this box turned out.

Basic Black: 3 3/8 x 3 3/8
Designer Series Paper: 3 1/4 x 3 1/4
Sides: (4)   3/4 x 3 1/4

Halloween Pumpkin Card

I love this card. I think it is so cute. I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest. I thought it was a cute cut for a card.

This is a fun cad. I had kids in mind for this card. It's especially good for family that live far away and you want to wish them a Happy Halloween. What kid wouldn't love to get this card in the mail.

One thing that I did differently was the fussy cutting. The pumpkins from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper can be also be cut out by using the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies (144670). They fit perfectly around the pumpkins. I unfortunately don't have the dies so I had to cut them out. In the card pictured I cut the pumpkins with no border but in the video I had cut them out with a border. It looks great either way.

This is a very cute card and I'm sure anyone would love to receive it.

Basic Black Card Base: 11 1/2 x 4 1/4
Score: 5 1/2
Very Vanilla: 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Designer Series Paper: 2 1/8 x 5 3/8
Scrap of Lemon Lime Twist for leaves

Halloween Treat Box

I love the inspriation and support that you get from other Stampin Up Demonstrators. I saw this box made by the great Patty Bennett and I had duh! moment.
How could I have forgotten about this paper and box dies?
They are perfect for a Halloween theme project.

Patty Bennett did an amazing job on her box. I have a link for her video here where she showcases many projects featuring Halloween products from the new Holiday Catalog.

I did change up my box a bit from hers. Some of the embellishments that she used I didn't have at the time. So it was a fun challenge to use other items that I forgot I had.

Foil Frenzy:  6 x 12
Spooky Night DSP:  1 x 12
I used 2nd largest circle die
4th largest scalloped die
Medallion circle die
