Abstract Impressions Butterfly Thank You Card

There is no denying a beautiful butterfly.
I was very excited to get a new butterfly die with the Garden Impressions Bundle (148348). In the last catalog we had a set of beautiful butterflies but it has since retired. When I saw this new set in the catalog I was excited to play with it.

This card came out so great. I wanted to show texture and the different ways to add them to a card. I focused on one main color and brought that to life.

What I love about this card is it can be made in any color. You can use any color and pair it up with either silver or gold embossing powder and you'll have a stand-out card. One that someone special will truly appreciate.

White Card Base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score - 4 1/4
Silver/Gold Foil:  1 1/4 x 5 1/4
Blue/Pink Card stock: 1 1/4 x 5
Designer Series Paper: 1/2 x 5

Tropical Chic Celebrate Card

Time to Celebrate..... celebrate what you ask?
I have no idea..... but lets party anyways.
This card is perfect for celebrating any occasion. It is fun, bright and beautifully hand-made.

This is another type of card that can be made and any color. Pairing it up with embossing powder and it will pop better than the wine bottles.

I can't wait to give this card to someone. And I know I have a few birthdays to celebrate this month.

Card Base: 4 1/4 x 11
score- 5 1/2
White: 4 x 5 1/4

A Little Wild Baby Cards

I have pushed myself and am making more baby cards. I love this stamp set. A Little Wild (144344) is the perfect baby card stamp set. The animals are so cute and super fun to color.

I first made the lion card. I mainly wanted to use the Tufted Embossing Folder (146335) and incorporate it into a baby card. But when it came to making my video on the card I didn't want another lion card. So I made the cute bear and it became my fave!

These were semi-quick cards to put together. It was easy to cut everything up and even a quick coloring with the Blends Markers made it fun. I know anyone who gets this card will love it. What makes it fun too is that the stamps actually make tags, so your card will match the present perfectly.

Card Base  4 1/4 x 11
score 5 1/2
Matching card stock 4 x 5 1/4
Whisper White scrap for animal
Silver scrap for circle
Layered solid circle #4 largest
Scalloped circle #4 largest

Dandelion Wishes Embossed Card

This stamp set is so pretty. The font is beautiful. I had so much fun coming up with this card. I wanted to do something a little different so I came up with the fun fold. It came out great. I made sure that there was plenty of room still to write on the inside and still make the fun fold stand out.

When I saw this set I knew that when I made a card I wanted it to be embossed. Heat embossing can take your standard looking card and make it pop. I know when I give someone an embossed card they know I put in so much love into making that card for them.

Well this stamp set definitely called for it and it turned out great. Now to find someone to give it to.

Card Base  4 1/4 x 11
score 5 1/2
cut at 2 1/2
Inside DSP  2 5/8 x 4 1/8
Whisper White  4 5/8 x 3 1/8
Bermuda Bay/Gorgeous Grape  4 1/2 x 3

Tropical Chic Treat Bag

I haven't made a treat bag in a long time. So when I got the new Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper Stack (146916) came out I knew it would be prefect to make a small treat bag.

This little bag can fit small treats like candy and would be great for a party. I can see these littered all over the tables. They would look so cute. If i got one I wouldn't want to open it, well unless some really good candy was inside. Then I'd be really careful.

DSP  6 x 4 1/2
score on the 6 inch side: 2, 2 3/4, 4 3/4, 5 1/2
on the 4 1/2 in side: 3/4
Optional side scores on 6 inch side- not all the way down, just to 3 inches: 2 5/8 and 5 1/8

Tropical Chic Masculine Birthday Card

When I came up with the idea for this card I wanted to focus my card on the leaves. It's easy to make the main focal point of a card flowers and have the leaves in the background. But I wanted it to stand out on my card.

My idea was to incorporate a masculine card into the mix of the Tropical Chic Suite. I thought of my uncle when I finished this card. He passed away a few years back but he was best known for his Hawaiian theme shirts. That's all he ever wore.

So my focus was on the leaves and to bring out the rich greens and make them pop. This card I can see going to a older man celebrating a milestone birthday. And it would be much appreciated.

Card Base  11 x 4 1/4
score 5 1/2
Shaded Spruce  4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Whisper White (2)  4 x 5 1/4
Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green scraps for the Happy Birthday die

Tropical Chic Thank You Card

Back when I was in High School I loved anything tropical. I had everything from flowers to leaves decorating my room. I even went on a trip to Hawaii.
So once I saw this set in the new catalog I knew I had to have it.

It is so much fun playing with this set. The leaves and flowers are easy to stamp and make great color combinations. I have wanted to make another card like this one for a while now. The last time I made a window card was for a Moon Baby Card and it is a very popular card. I have over 3,000 views on You Tube for that card.

This window card was very easy to put together. I especially love the Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper Stack (146916). It has such great tropical designs in it and the color combinations look amazing. I know anyone I give this card to will absolutely love it.

Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score 4 1/4
Cut card at 2 1/2 and then cut the strip at 1 inch

Graceful Glass Velum Book Markers

When I saw the Graceful Glass Designer Series Paper Pack (146344) I knew it would be fun to color with the new Stampin Blends markers.

When I saw this particular piece of paper I knew that if cut up just right you can make really cute bookmakers with it. And so I did just that.

These came out great. I absolutely love them. The only struggle I had was trying to decide on which ribbon to use. I have yet to get any new ribbon and my older ribbon is mostly to large. I was able to add some but I still wasn't sure. So you can choose to use which ever you'd like.

A Little Wild Elephant Baby Card

Here is a very nice baby girl card. I love this stamp set for baby cards. I just made a little bear one and not the elephant. It came out so nice.

Pink and green are my colors. They actually are my wedding colors. I just love how they look and compliment each other.

This card was fun to make. I have wanted to make more baby cards. I see that a past baby card I did was very popular and still is on my You Tube and blog. So I might as well make some more.

Card Base  8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score 4 1/4
DSP  4 x 5 1/4
Powder Pink  3 1/4 x 3 1/4
Whisper White  3 x 3
