Dapper Day Card

** March Incentive: Free Coffee Cozie with purchase for the month of March**
See previous posts

I wanted to continue with making masculine cards and I came up with this one.
I absolutely love it.

When I saw this suite in the Occasions Catalog I knew I was going to make a dapper Mickey Mouse card. It just had to be done. I loved how it came out and I espcially love the look on my group of ladies faces when I showed them this card.

Since I live in San Diego Disneyland is not that far away. I know a ton of people who have annual passes, I mean I had them too. So Mickey is a big deal in my group.

My 5 Year Anniversary

5 years ago I signed up to be a Stampin Up Demonstrator and it was the best decision I ever made. I absolutely love being a demonstrator and creating with such amazing products.

It's funny how I signed up. I didn't even go to a class or seen a catalog. My mom had gone to a class given by my upline with a friend and she had so much fun and loved the products that she told me I needed to sign up.
I had no idea what she was talking about and the idea of making cards was not for me. I was a scrapbooker. I only made scrapbooks and worked with kits. I figured I would need to incorporate that in selling this product. But once I saw the cards my mom made and sat down and did my research on  making cards I was hooked. I knew that I could do this and there was so much out there to inspire me and add to those creative juices that make me crafty.
I now only make card and haven't touched a scrapbook in 5 year.
I believe that this change was the most fun I have ever had with crafting  and I can only encourage you to sign up and join in on the fun. I would love to be your upline and help you in any way possible so you can enjoy Stampin Up like I do.

I got my group of ladies together to celebrate and we had so much fun making cards together and they really enjoyed their gift and goodies. I always try to make it fun.

Hope you enjoyed!

Classy Guy Card

This my attempt at a masculine card.
I have made masculine cards in the past, mainly for my husband. And of course he says they are awesome ( I have trained him well).
But once I saw the Truly Tailored Suite I knew here was my chance to redeem myself.

I love how this card came out.
It is so simple and easy to change up if needed.

It allows you to use up your paper especially if your like me and can't decide on which one to use. So you might as well incorporate all of them.
I chose three sheets and used both side of the paper to incorporate 6 strips on the card.
It came out great and now I have a design I can use for any occasion.

Thick Very Vanilla Cardstock:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score at 4 1/4
Night of Navy Cardstock: 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Tranquil Tide Cardstock: 5 x 3 3/4
DSP strips: 3/4 x 3 1/4
Scrap of Very Vanilla and Night of Navy

Hope you enjoyed!

March Anniversary Thank You Cards

I am so excited to be celebrating 5 years as a Stampin Up Demonstrator this month.
And I am celebrating with my group of ladies this weekend.

I came up with this very pretty thank you card that I am making for all of them to say thank you for supporting me on this journey.

I love this card so much. And I have to say I am pretty impressed with myself for coming up with this card design on my own. My main inspiration is the Petal Passion DSP (145589). I saw this paper and was inspired to color it with the Stampin Blends. It was a lot of work but so much fun.

Thick Whisper White Cardstock: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score: 4 1/4
Basic Black: 5 1/4 x 4
Petal Passion DSP: 2 3/4 x 5 1/8
Vellum: 5 1/8 x 1 1/2 -- embossed using Softy Falling Embossing Folder (139672)
Fresh Fig Ribbon about 6 inches
Whisper White and Basic Black scraps for stamping and cutting
* I used the 4th largest Layering Circle die for the black circle and the 3rd largest Stitch Circle for the white.

Hope you enjoyed!

Petal Palette Birthday Card

When I saw this suite I was so intrigued because I was excited to use my new Stampin Blends Markers. This suite is perfect for it. Th images are so easy to color and blend and it comes out beautiful every time.

I just love how these cards came out. And I have already given them away. The purple flower above was given to my grandma who celebrated her 78th birthday recently. She loved it and the unicorn I crochet for her.

Now of course once I come up with a design I have to try it in different colors. So I have lots of pictures attached to this blog.

Simple Teen Card

I got excited when I saw this stamp set in the new Sale-a-bration catalog. I loved the shoes! Reason being is that I wear this style of shoes with everything. I love my converse and am known to wear them from all my friends and family.

I loved this stamp and card idea for those teenagers in our lives. Now not every teenager is like this but usually they don't appreciate the work we put into our cards. So when I came up with this design I wanted it to be as simple as possible yet catches their attention even if it's just for a minute.

This was a fun card to make. I use our Blender Pens to color in the shoes. I love how this detail showed up and it makes the shoes stand out perfectly.

Card base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score 4 1/4
Lemon Lime Cardstock: 2 1/4 x 4
DSP: 3 3/4 x 1 1/4
