Flowering Desert Simple Cactus Card

Since I am loving the new Flowering Desert Stamp Set (148700), I thought I would make a very simple card with it.

This card was fun layering all the plants together, especially in the different colors so they can stand out. This simple layout made this card look so nice.

What I also like about it is that it can be used as a simple hello card, birthday card, or celebration card. Any reason to give a card is a good one.

Card Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2   score 4 1/4
Coastal Cabana Card Stock  4 x 5 1/4 - embossed with Subtle Embossing folder
Used 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle die

Flowering Desert Cactus Card

I was born and raised in San Diego, California and never lived anywhere else. I also never thought I would. But when an opportunity arrived to move to Arizona we jumped on it.

Now I'm in Tucson, Arizona and loving it. It is so nice here and I feel we fit in perfectly.
One thing that has gotten my attention is all the cacti around.
I'm obsessed!

I want to make my whole decor in my home cactus and I have found that to be a bit challenging.
I figure you see enough of it outside why bring it inside - Hahaha!

But this stamp set does the trick. It allows you to make any shape or color that you want your cactus to be. I'm loving it and so love how this card came out.

Card Base  8 1/2 x 5 1/2   score 4 1/4
Designer Series Paper  4 x 5 1/4
3rd Largest Stitched Rectangle on Whisper White
1/2 inch Crumb Cake Strip for embossing

Hope you enjoyed!

Botanical Butterfly Happy Birthday Card

To continue with my pretty butterflies I came up with this card.
I got inspired from a magazine that is exclusive to demonstrators. In the magazine are article and project to help inspire either your business or your hobby.
(If it's something that interests you then you should sign up to become a Stampin Up Demonstrator- Click here

These butterflies are so fun to play around with. And they make the most gorgeous cards. This one uses the Botanical Designer Series Paper that is available for free with a $50 order.

What I like most about this paper is that it has beautiful colorful butterflies on one side and black and white images on the other. When you put the two together you have a great combo that just pops.

Card Base 11 x 4 1/4 - score at 5 1/2
DSP (with stripes) 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
DSP (green design) 5 1/2 x 3 3/4
Butterflies all cut out
Scrap of Whisper White for sentiment

Hope you enjoyed!

Botanical Butterfly Birthday Wishes Card

Now you can't go wrong with butterflies. And the new Occasions Catalog is full of them.
I am so in love with all these butterflies. Every time I start making a project I end up adding a butterfly in there somewhere.

This card is one of my faves. I did take the time to fussy cut all the butterflies out. When I saw the Botanical Butterfly DSP (Free with a $50 order) and I saw the one page full of the different sized butterflies I knew I couldn't jut cut it up. I needed to cut each and every one out.

And so I did and I came out with this beauty!

Card Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score 4 1/4
Lemon Lime Twist Card Stock 4 x 5 1/4-embossed with Tuffed Embossing Folder
Black Card Stock 3 1/8 x 4 1/8
Designer Series Paper 3 x 4
Scraps of White and Black Card stock for sentiment
Used smallest stitched rectangle die

Lift Me Up Valentine's Day Card

I'll be the first to admit it... I'm not a Valentine's Day Fan.
Not that I don't like it, I just think its kind of a waste.
But that's just my opinion.
(I'd rather have 2nd Halloween... haha!)

I do however love making Valentine's. Especially for my daughters class and my co-workers.
I'm not big on buying Valentine stuff to make it. I like to improvise.

This year I stuck to it and did not buy anything Valentines. I scanned what I already have and came up with this lovely card. I think as long as you use the right colors and simple stamp set you can achieve a Valentine's Day card easily.

The Lift Me Up Stamp Set (142896) and Up and Away Thinlits (142748) make the most perfect Valentine's Day card. They are both still available in the Annual Catalog.

Card Base: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
score 4 1/4
Lovely Lipstick Card Stock  4 x 5 1/4
3rd Largest Stitched Rectangle Die on Powder Pink
1/2 strip of Pool Party for sentiment

Join My Team During Sale-a-Bration

So every year Stampin Up starts the year off right with Sale-a-bration!
This is usually the time of year that is best to sign up and become a Stampin Up Demonstrator.

I did.
I signed up 6 years ago during Sale-a-bration and have been loving every minute of it.
I love being a Stampin Up Demonstrator. I wouldn't change it for the world.

Right now is a special time to sign up. They are offering $175 worth of product for only $99.
Pay $129, still get the $175 worth of product and the Craft and Carry Tote.
(this bag it only available to new demonstrators)

And now I invite you to join the fun.
I have been working on building a bigger team of demonstrators. And you don't even have to do this as a business. You can be a hobby demo and still enjoy everything Stampin Up has to offer.

Some of the incentives are having a discount on all that you buy. Whenever you place an order you get a discount on your total purchase.
Another incentive (and this one is my favorite) is that you get to see, buy and play with new product a month before it is available to customers.
You also get help with your business goal or just inspiration with crafting.

It's so much fun and I would love you to take part on this journey with me.
Any questions at all feel free to reach out to me.
